As we celebrate 100 Years of Rotary in Australia, the Rotary Club of Jimboomba took its place in the R100 Baton Relay – an event to connect all Rotary Clubs across Australia and NZ with their communities.
Through this relay our Rotary runners share a story of diversity and inclusion, the baton is filled with the energy of Rotarians from around our countries lighting up our communities with “Service Above Self”.
The District 9640 Relay Baton was handed from the Beaudesert Club to Jimboomba on Tuesday and was then handed over to the Tamborine Club on Saturday.
During the week Jimboomba Rotarians also attended the Hills International College whole of school assembly to showcase the Interact Club, present the R100 Baton and bring awareness to our district’s cause “Rotary Says NO to Domestic Violence”.
